All about Kam's Confections

I started baking about eight years ago when I was in high school as a way to relieve stress and also make my friends and teachers happy.  My baking habit continued into college where it truly blossomed-- not only was I studying genetics and psychology, I was also studying proofing times for different doughs, different styles of cookie decorating, how to properly mix flavors into batters to get the best consistency, and testing out dozens of recipes to find the very best outcome.  I never guessed that I'd be using my baking knowledge more than my actual degree, but hey, life is weird!
After I graduated, I started working at a bakery in Charleston because I simply couldn't get enough.  I would bake from 6am to 4pm, then come home and bake some more to test out my own recipes.  I finally decided to start my own business in November of 2022, and thus Kam's Confections was born. 
I love making beautiful cakes and cookies, but more importantly I love making something that's truly delicious. There's nothing quite like biting into a warm biscuit or cookie and feeling like you're eating something that was truly made with love. For me, that's what baking is all about!
